High-Threat Targets
Always prioritize enemies that pose the greatest immediate threat. This typically includes: Biomechanoids (both small and large) due to their powerful projectiles, Arachnoids for their energy cannons, and Sirian Werebulls for their devastating charges. These enemies can quickly deplete your health and armor if left unchecked.

Crowd Control
After high-threat targets, focus on enemies that can quickly overwhelm you in numbers. Kleer Skeletons and Headless Kamikazes fall into this category. Use area-of-effect weapons (Rocket Launcher, Grenade Launcher) or the Shotgun to clear them out efficiently.
Long-Range vs. Melee
Generally, eliminate long-range threats first to reduce incoming projectile spam, then deal with melee enemies. However, if melee enemies are closing in rapidly, switch to a close-range weapon and create space before returning to long-range targets.
Sound Cues
Pay close attention to sound cues. Each enemy has a distinct sound that indicates its presence or attack. The scream of a Headless Kamikaze, the roar of a Werebull, or the whirring of an Arachnoid's cannon can give you crucial seconds to react before they appear on screen. Use the radar (top-left) in conjunction with sound to pinpoint threats.
Exploiting Weaknesses
Some enemies have specific weaknesses. Gnaar are vulnerable to headshots. Arachnoids' cannons can be disabled by focusing fire on them. While most enemies are just bullet sponges, knowing these small advantages can save ammo and time.
