The Sand Canyon level introduces you to larger, more open environments and new enemy types. You'll primarily be navigating through vast desert canyons, facing waves of enemies that often spawn from multiple directions. This level is a good test of your ability to manage large groups of enemies and utilize your full arsenal. Keep an eye out for Rocket Launcher ammo, as this weapon will become invaluable against tougher foes. The level also features several environmental hazards, such as quicksand, so watch your step. Your main objective is to traverse the canyon, clearing out enemy strongholds and eventually reaching the next major temple complex. Expect to encounter your first Sirian Werebulls, which are fast, charging enemies that require quick reflexes to dodge.
