The Mushroom Mines are filled with unique environmental elements. Large, bouncy mushrooms can be used to reach higher platforms or cross gaps. Be careful, as some mushrooms are covered in spikes and will damage you upon contact. Look for pathways that allow you to dig downwards, but always be mindful of what lies below. Sometimes, a direct drop can lead to a hidden treasure, other times, it can lead to a pit of spikes or a waiting enemy. Utilize your Shovel Drop to clear dirt blocks efficiently and create new paths. Keep an eye out for glowing spores; these often indicate hidden passages or valuable gems. The enemies here, such as the Fungi Foes and Spore Sprites, are relatively slow but can overwhelm you in groups. Prioritize taking out ranged enemies first. Remember to collect as much Gold as possible, as it's crucial for upgrades back at the Surface Camp.
