Scrap Knight is the boss of the Smeltworks. This mechanical menace uses the industrial environment to her advantage, throwing junk and creating hazards. Her fight demands quick reflexes and environmental awareness.

Phases:
- Phase 1: Junk Barrage: Scrap Knight will move around the arena, often using conveyor belts to her advantage. Her primary attack involves throwing various pieces of junk (gears, metal scraps) at Shovel Knight. These projectiles can be destroyed or bounced off with a Shovel Drop. She also has a vacuum attack where she pulls Shovel Knight towards her, often into a pile of spikes or lava.
- Phase 2: Heavy Machinery: After taking significant damage, Scrap Knight will activate heavier machinery. She'll start throwing larger, more damaging projectiles, and her vacuum attack will be stronger and more frequent. She might also summon small, explosive robots that chase Shovel Knight. The arena may also introduce more active hazards like falling molten metal or temporary flame jets.
Weaknesses & Strategy:
Scrap Knight is vulnerable to direct attacks. The best openings occur after she finishes a throw or when she's recovering from her vacuum attack. Use your Shovel Drop to bounce off her head or to deflect her thrown junk back at her. The Propeller Dagger is excellent for quickly closing distances and dodging her vacuum. The Phase Locket can be used to escape her vacuum or pass through projectile barrages. Relics like the Flare Wand or Chaos Orb can deal consistent damage while you focus on dodging. Pay close attention to the conveyor belts and environmental hazards, using them to your advantage or avoiding them. Prioritize destroying any summoned robots quickly. Keep the pressure on and exploit her recovery frames.
