The Smeltworks introduces several new dangers. Lava pools are instantly fatal, so always ensure your landing spot is safe before dropping. Conveyor belts will push you in their direction, which can be used to your advantage for speed or to reach otherwise inaccessible areas, but can also push you into hazards. Watch out for falling molten metal droplets from the ceiling; these deal significant damage. Enemies like the Gear Grinders and Flame Golems are heavily armored. Gear Grinders can only be damaged from above with a Shovel Drop, while Flame Golems are immune to frontal attacks and must be hit from behind or with a powerful Relic. The environment itself can be weaponized; some platforms will collapse after a short time, and others will periodically emit jets of flame. Timing your movements and attacks is crucial. Consider using Relics that offer invincibility frames or allow for quick movement, such as the Phase Locket or Propeller Dagger, to bypass dangerous sections.
