- Pyramid Head's Appearance: In a flooded corridor, you'll witness Pyramid Head assaulting two Mannequins. This is your first direct encounter.
- Survival Strategy: You cannot defeat Pyramid Head here. Your goal is to survive until the bell rings. Run from him, keeping your distance. Use the environment to your advantage, ducking into side rooms if necessary.
- Bell Rings: After a tense chase, a bell will ring, and Pyramid Head will retreat.
- Exit: Proceed through the now-clear path to the exit of the Historical Society.
Tips: This encounter is designed to instill fear and establish Pyramid Head as an unstoppable force. Do not waste ammo trying to fight him. Focus solely on evasion. The bell ringing is a scripted event, so just keep moving.
