Throughout Skylands, you'll encounter Elemental Gates, marked by a glowing symbol of one of the eight elements. These gates can only be opened by a Skylander of the corresponding element. Behind each gate lies a secret area, often containing valuable gold, a Legendary Treasure, a Soul Gem, or a challenging combat encounter. To fully explore every level and collect all secrets, you will need at least one Skylander of each element. Don't worry if you can't open a gate on your first playthrough; you can always revisit chapters later with the appropriate Skylander.
