After the initial cutscene, follow Master Eon's glowing path. You'll encounter your first group of Chompies. Use your primary attack to defeat them. Continue along the path, smashing any crates or barrels you see to collect gold. You'll come across a small bridge that needs to be repaired; simply walk over the glowing repair spot. Further on, you'll find a locked gate. Master Eon will instruct you to find the key. The key is usually located nearby, often guarded by a few more Chompies. Pick it up and return to the gate to proceed to the Ruins.
