Chapter 3: Sky Schooner Docks
Welcome to the Sky Schooner Docks, Portal Master! This chapter introduces new challenges and plenty of secrets to uncover. Keep your eyes peeled and your Skylanders ready for action!
Initial Docking Area
Upon starting the level, you'll find yourself on a small dock. Your first objective is to clear out the initial wave of enemies. These will primarily be a mix of Chompies and a few Drow Spearmen. Focus on taking out the Drow Spearmen first as their ranged attacks can be annoying.
- Treasure Chest: After defeating the enemies, look to your immediate left. There's a small alcove containing a Treasure Chest.
- Story Scroll: Proceed forward along the main path. You'll quickly come across your first Story Scroll of the level, usually just past the initial enemy encounter.
The Crane Puzzle
Further into the docks, you'll encounter a large, inactive crane blocking your path. This is your first puzzle of the level.
- Activate the Crane: To get the crane moving, you need to find its power source. Head to the right side of the crane area. You'll see a small platform with a switch. Activate it to power up the crane.
- Move the Obstacle: Once the crane is active, interact with it. It will pick up a large crate that was previously blocking your way, creating a new path forward.
Beyond the Crane
With the path clear, continue onward. You'll face more enemies, including the tougher Drow Lancers. Utilize your Skylanders' elemental advantages if possible.
- Soul Gem (Stealth Elf): After passing the crane and defeating the next group of enemies, look for a small, elevated platform to your left. You'll need a Skylander with the Life element to access the Life Elemental Gate here. Inside, you'll find Stealth Elf's Soul Gem.
- Hat (Propeller Hat): Once you've navigated past the crane and the subsequent enemy encounter, you'll come to a wider open area. Look for a series of crates stacked near the edge of the dock. Jump across these crates to reach a hidden platform where the Propeller Hat is located. This hat provides a speed boost!
The Shipping Yard
As you progress, you'll enter a larger shipping yard filled with various crates and more enemies. This area often features a mix of Chompies, Drow Spearmen, and occasionally a few larger Drow Grunts.
- Legendary Treasure: In the shipping yard, search thoroughly among the stacked crates on the far right side. There's a cleverly hidden path that leads to the Legendary Treasure for this chapter. You might need to destroy some breakable crates to reveal the way.
- Elemental Gate (Water): Towards the end of the shipping yard, before the next major area, you'll spot a Water Elemental Gate. Bring a Water Skylander to access a bonus area with extra coins and potentially another item.
Final Stretch to the Airship
After clearing the shipping yard, you'll be on the final approach to the airship. Expect a more intense enemy encounter here, possibly including a few more Drow Grunts or even a new enemy type. Focus on crowd control and utilize your Skylanders' special abilities.
- Treasure Chest: Just before the ramp leading up to the airship, check behind some large crates on the left side. Another Treasure Chest awaits!
Once you've defeated all enemies and collected all the treasures, proceed up the ramp to board the airship and complete Chapter 3!
