Relics are permanent buffs that significantly alter your run in Slay the Spire. Understanding their effects, acquisition methods, and strategic implications is crucial for consistent success, especially as you climb the Ascension levels. Unlike cards, relics are persistent throughout your entire run, making their selection and synergy incredibly impactful. There are hundreds of relics, each with unique properties, so mastering their use is a core skill.

Acquisition Methods

Relics can be obtained through various means:

  • Boss Rewards: After defeating an Act Boss (Act 1, 2, and 3), you will always be offered a choice of three powerful Boss Relics. These often come with significant upsides but sometimes have drawbacks.
