Miles 'Tails' Prower

Tails, Sonic's loyal sidekick, offers a balanced playstyle with strong aerial capabilities. Similar to Cream, Tails can fly by repeatedly pressing A in mid-air. His flight duration is generally longer than Cream's, allowing for more sustained aerial traversal. This makes him exceptionally good at navigating vertical stages and bypassing large gaps. He also has a Tail Swipe attack (press B) that can hit enemies in front of him. Tails' flight ability makes him a strong contender for finding all collectibles, especially in stages with significant verticality. While not as fast as Sonic, his ability to fly for extended periods provides a unique advantage in exploration and avoiding ground hazards.
