These maneuvers leverage character-specific abilities and precise timing to maintain momentum, reach hidden areas, and dispatch enemies efficiently.

Character-Specific Advanced Moves

  • Sonic:
    • Super Sonic Boost: While at top speed, press and hold the A Button after a jump to initiate a powerful forward dash. This is crucial for clearing large gaps, breaking through certain obstacles, and maintaining speed through complex sections. Practice timing this after ramps and springs for maximum effect.
    • Homing Attack Chain: After a Homing Attack (press A in mid-air near an enemy), immediately press A again if another enemy is within range. This allows for rapid enemy traversal and can be used to cross chasms or reach higher platforms by bouncing off a series of airborne foes.
