  • Rings: Displayed in the top-left corner. Collecting 100 rings grants an extra life. If you take damage with rings, you'll lose them all, but you can recollect some before they disappear.
  • Score: Located in the top-right corner. Your score increases by collecting rings, defeating enemies, and completing stages quickly.
  • Time: Shown in the bottom-left. This tracks how long you've been in the current act. Faster times contribute to higher scores.
  • Lives: Represented by character icons in the bottom-right. You start with a certain number of lives, and losing all of them results in a Game Over.
  • Special Ring Counter: Appears when you collect a Special Ring. This indicates how many more Special Rings you need to find in the act to access the Special Stage.

Keeping an eye on your ring count is crucial for survival, as it acts as your health bar. Aim for high scores by collecting as many rings as possible and completing acts swiftly.
