This zone requires careful navigation, as movement is slower underwater, and oxygen is a concern. However, there are also sections above water, offering a mix of fast-paced platforming and methodical exploration.
Characters with flight abilities, like Tails and Cream, are incredibly useful here for bypassing water sections or quickly surfacing for air. Knuckles' gliding can also be beneficial for traversing large underwater areas without losing too much speed. Be mindful of enemies that are specifically adapted to the aquatic environment, and look for air bubbles to replenish your oxygen supply.
