The Egg Slot is a unique boss that incorporates the zone's casino theme. Eggman is in a mech that resembles a slot machine, with three spinning reels.
Phase 1: Reel Attacks
The reels will spin, and depending on the combination, Eggman will launch different attacks. If the reels show three bombs, he'll drop multiple bombs onto the arena. If they show three rings, he'll drop a few rings. If they show three Eggman faces, he'll launch a powerful laser or homing missiles. Your goal is to attack the cockpit, which is exposed above the reels. Use the flippers and bumpers in the arena to launch yourself upwards. Sonic's Homing Attack can be tricky to aim here, but effective. Tails can fly directly to the cockpit. Knuckles can use his glide to maneuver. Amy needs to use her Hammer Jump to gain height. The challenge is avoiding the attacks while getting enough height to hit the cockpit. Keep an eye on the reel combinations to anticipate the next attack. It takes about 10-12 hits to defeat.
