The Egg Blizzard is a mech that attacks with ice-based projectiles and creates slippery surfaces. The arena itself is icy, making movement challenging.
Phase 1: Ice Projectiles & Ground Slides
Eggman's mech will slide across the icy arena, occasionally stopping to fire ice projectiles. These projectiles can freeze you on contact, leaving you vulnerable. He will also create patches of ice on the ground, making it even more slippery. Your window to attack is when he stops to fire. You need to slide into him with a Spin Attack or jump on top of his cockpit. Sonic's Spin Dash is excellent for quickly closing the distance. Tails can fly over the ice patches and projectiles to hit the cockpit. Knuckles can glide to him or use his punch if close enough. Amy needs to time her Hammer Dash or Hammer Jump to hit him. Be careful not to get frozen, as it leaves you open to further attacks. Maintain your rings, as the slippery surface makes dodging difficult. It takes about 12-14 hits to defeat.
