Location: Radical Highway. Phases: Shadow has two main phases. Strategy: This is a direct rivalry battle. In the first phase, Shadow will primarily use his Homing Attack and Spin Dash. Your goal is to hit him with your own Homing Attack. Wait for him to finish an attack or be vulnerable, then strike. He will often try to trick you by using Chaos Control to teleport. In the second phase, he'll start using Chaos Spear. Continue to dodge his attacks and land Homing Attacks. A good strategy is to bait his Homing Attack, then quickly counter with your own. Don't chase him blindly; wait for an opening. For an A-Rank, be aggressive but precise, minimizing the time spent dodging and maximizing your attack opportunities.
