Kart Race is a fun, optional racing mode in Sonic Adventure 2. There are several tracks to unlock and master, each with unique layouts and challenges. You can play as various characters, each with slightly different kart stats. The goal is to finish first against AI opponents. Utilize power-ups found on the track, such as rockets, mines, and speed boosts, to gain an advantage. Drifting around corners (holding the B button while turning) is crucial for maintaining speed and taking tight turns. Winning all Kart Races will earn you an Emblem.
