E-101 Beta is a robotic boss encountered by both Gamma and Amy. As E-102 Gamma, this is a mirror match against a fellow E-series robot. Beta will fire missiles and use a laser attack. Your strategy is to lock onto Beta and fire your lasers. When Beta charges up its laser, dodge to the side. After it fires, its core will be exposed for a brief moment; this is your window to attack. Chain multiple lock-ons for maximum damage. As Amy, the fight is more about evasion and timing. Beta will fire missiles and charge at you. Use your Hammer Jump to avoid its ground attacks and missiles. When Beta charges, dodge to the side. After it misses, its core will be exposed. Hit it with your Piko Piko Hammer. Be patient and wait for the openings, as Amy's attacks are slower than Gamma's.
