Character: Super Sonic
Location: Station Square
Weakness: Core

Perfect Chaos is the final boss of Sonic Adventure, fought as Super Sonic. This is a unique battle where Super Sonic's invincibility is tied to his ring count, which constantly depletes. Your objective is to continuously collect rings while attacking Perfect Chaos's core. Perfect Chaos will unleash massive water-based attacks, including huge waves and energy blasts. Fly towards him, dodging his attacks. Dash Panels are scattered throughout the flooded city; use them to gain speed and collect rings. When you get close enough, boost into his core. There are no distinct phases, but Chaos will become more aggressive as his health decreases. The key is to maintain a high ring count by constantly collecting them and to stay aggressive, always flying towards Chaos and striking his core whenever an opening presents itself. This is a test of endurance and continuous offense.
While Sonic Adventure introduced the ring-depletion mechanic for Super Sonic, Sonic Rush later refined this high-stakes survival system during its own cinematic final boss encounter.
While this encounter established the ring-depletion mechanic for Super Sonic, Sonic Advance 3 later refined this high-stakes pressure by requiring specific team actions to maintain momentum.
