Rings serve as Sonic's health in Sonic Frontiers. As long as you have at least one ring, you can survive a hit. Upon taking damage, you'll scatter your rings and have a brief window to recollect some of them. If you take damage with zero rings, it's game over. Collecting rings also contributes to your Boost Gauge, allowing you to maintain high speeds. Max Ring capacity can be increased by exchanging Koco with Elder Koco.
