The Death Egg Robot is Classic Sonic's first major boss, a classic encounter from Sonic the Hedgehog 2. This battle takes place in a 2D arena. The robot has several attacks: a punch, a stomp, and firing its hand. To damage it, wait for it to punch the ground, exposing its arm. Spin Dash into the arm to damage it. After a few hits, it will start stomping, creating shockwaves you must jump over. It will also fire its hand, which you can jump on to reach its head for more damage. Repeat this pattern, being mindful of its attacks, until it's defeated. Timing your Spin Dashes and jumps is crucial.
