The Egg Dragoon is Modern Sonic's second major boss, a challenging encounter from Sonic Unleashed. This battle takes place on a series of crumbling platforms. Eggman in his Egg Dragoon will attack with drills, ice blasts, and by slamming the ground. Dodge his drill attacks by Quick Stepping. When he slams the ground, jump to avoid the shockwave. After certain attacks, he'll be vulnerable, allowing you to Homing Attack his cockpit. As the battle progresses, platforms will crumble, forcing you to move. Use your Boost to quickly traverse the arena and Homing Attack to reach him. The final phase involves a quick-time event.
