The Egg Emperor is a massive, heavily armored mech piloted by Dr. Eggman, serving as a penultimate boss for most teams. This battle is a test of endurance, precise platforming, and strategic damage dealing.
Phases & Strategy:
- Initial Assault: The Egg Emperor will charge at you, swing its sword, and fire projectiles. Stay in Speed formation to dodge its attacks and use the Homing Attack to hit its legs or lower body.
- Elevated Platform: The Egg Emperor will sometimes raise its sword, creating a path of platforms. Switch to Fly formation (Tails/Rouge/Cream/Charmy) to ascend these platforms and reach higher weak points on its body.
- Power Attack Opportunity: When the Egg Emperor is stunned or its head is lowered, switch to Power formation (Knuckles/Omega/Big/Vector) and unleash your strongest attacks on its head or cockpit. This is your main damage window.
- Projectile Barrage: The Egg Emperor will fire a barrage of missiles or lasers. Use Speed formation to quickly dodge or Fly formation to hover above the projectiles.
- Team Blast: Save your Team Blast for when the Egg Emperor is vulnerable and you can hit its head for maximum damage.
Weakness: Primarily vulnerable to Power attacks on its head/cockpit when exposed. Speed characters are for dodging and initial hits, Fly characters for reaching elevated weak points.
