The Egg Hawk is the first major boss you'll encounter, typically at the end of Seaside Hill. It's a large, flying machine piloted by Dr. Eggman, designed to introduce you to basic boss mechanics.

Phases & Strategy:
- Initial Attack: The Egg Hawk will fly around, occasionally swooping down to attack or dropping bombs. Stay in Speed formation (Sonic/Shadow/Amy/Espio) and use the Homing Attack to hit the Egg Hawk when it's low enough.
- Bomb Barrage: After taking some damage, the Egg Hawk will fly higher and drop a barrage of bombs. Switch to Fly formation (Tails/Rouge/Cream/Charmy) and use their flight ability to avoid the explosions. You can also use the Thunder Shoot to hit the Egg Hawk if it's within range.
- Ground Attack: The Egg Hawk will sometimes land on the arena. This is your prime opportunity to switch to Power formation (Knuckles/Omega/Big/Vector) and unleash powerful attacks. Aim for the cockpit or any glowing weak points.
- Repeat: The boss will repeat these patterns, becoming slightly more aggressive. Keep switching formations to adapt to its attacks and exploit its vulnerabilities. Use your Team Blast when available for a burst of damage.
Weakness: Vulnerable to Speed attacks when swooping, Fly attacks when airborne, and Power attacks when grounded. The cockpit is often a critical hit zone.
