Team Battles are unique boss encounters where you face off against another team. This particular battle pits Team Sonic against Team Dark (or vice versa, depending on your chosen campaign). These fights are less about pattern recognition and more about strategic character switching and aggressive offense.
Strategy:
- Focus Fire: Your primary goal is to deplete the opposing team's health bar. Focus your attacks on the character currently leading their team.
- Exploit Weaknesses: If the opposing team is in Speed formation, use your Power character to break their guard. If they're in Power, use your Speed character's Homing Attack. If they're in Fly, use your Speed character or Fly character's Thunder Shoot.
- Dodge & Weave: The opposing team will use their own abilities and Team Blasts. Be prepared to dodge Shadow's Chaos Snap, Omega's projectiles, or Sonic's Homing Attacks.
- Team Blast Timing: Use your Team Blast strategically. It can clear the screen, deal significant damage, and grant temporary invincibility, giving you a crucial advantage. Try to hit multiple opponents with it if possible.
- Ring Management: Rings are vital. If you take damage, quickly collect any scattered rings to avoid losing a life.
Weakness: No specific elemental weakness, but exploiting the rock-paper-scissors dynamic of Speed-Power-Fly is key. Aggressive play and well-timed Team Blasts are your best assets.
