Team Dark is a more combat-oriented team, focusing on aggressive attacks and powerful area-of-effect abilities. They are excellent for players who enjoy direct confrontation and high damage output.
Characters:
- Shadow (Speed): Similar to Sonic but with a slightly more aggressive Homing Attack and the ability to perform a Chaos Snap (teleport short distances).
- Rouge (Fly): Can fly, perform a Thunder Shoot, and has a unique 'Screw Kick' attack. Her flight is slightly more agile than Tails'.
- Omega (Power): A walking arsenal, Omega boasts the strongest attacks, can hover, and has a rapid-fire projectile attack. He excels at clearing groups of enemies.
Team Blast: Chaos Inferno
Chaos Inferno unleashes a devastating barrage of projectiles from Omega, destroying all enemies on screen and granting temporary invincibility. It's one of the most destructive Team Blasts in the game.
Strategy:
Team Dark thrives on offense. Use Shadow for quick traversal and precise Homing Attacks. Rouge's flight is great for reaching high areas and her Screw Kick can be surprisingly effective. Omega is your primary damage dealer; switch to him for large groups of enemies or heavily armored foes. Utilize Shadow's Chaos Snap to bypass certain obstacles or quickly close distances. Their Team Blast is perfect for boss fights or overwhelming enemy encounters.
