This boss is a large, stationary robot with a single vulnerable eye. It fires lasers and deploys smaller enemies. Remember, there are no rings in Death Egg Zone, so every hit is a life lost.
- Phase 1: The robot's eye will open, fire lasers, and then close. It also deploys small, flying enemies.
- Sonic Strategy: Wait for the eye to open, then jump and Spin Attack it. Use your Insta-Shield to deflect the smaller enemies or to hit the eye from a slightly safer distance. Dodge the lasers carefully.
- Knuckles Strategy: Knuckles can glide towards the eye when it's open for a punch. His glide can also help him quickly move to avoid the lasers.
- Weakness: The robot's eye, when open.
- Reward: Proceed to the final boss.
