This boss is exclusive to Knuckles' story. Dr. Robotnik pilots a machine with two arms designed to grab the Master Emerald. The arena is the Master Emerald chamber.
- Phase 1: Robotnik's machine attempts to grab the Master Emerald. It will extend its arms and fire lasers.
- Knuckles Strategy: You need to attack the arms first. Punch them when they are extended. After both arms are destroyed, Robotnik's cockpit will be exposed. Glide up and punch the cockpit while avoiding his laser attacks.
- Weakness: The machine's arms, then the cockpit.
- Reward: Robotnik escapes with the Master Emerald, proceed to Sky Sanctuary Zone.
