  • How to Unlock:
    1. Insert the Sonic the Hedgehog 3 cartridge into your Sega Genesis console.
    2. Carefully attach the Sonic & Knuckles cartridge onto the top of the Sonic the Hedgehog 3 cartridge, ensuring a firm connection. The "Lock-On" mechanism should click into place.
    3. Power on your console. If successful, the title screen will display "Sonic the Hedgehog 3 & Knuckles."
  • What You Get:
    • Playable Characters: You can now play through the entire combined game as Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, or Sonic & Tails together. Knuckles, previously only playable in his own Sonic & Knuckles stages, gains access to all of Sonic 3's levels, complete with his unique abilities (gliding, climbing walls).
    • Super Forms: Collecting all seven Chaos Emeralds in the Special Stages will unlock Super Sonic, Super Tails, and Super Knuckles.
    • Hyper Forms: This is exclusive to Sonic 3 & Knuckles.     • Infinite Blue Sphere Stages: You can play an endless series of Blue Sphere Special Stages. Each stage is randomly generated, offering a new challenge every time.
    • Level Select: After completing a stage, you'll be given a code. Inputting this code at the title screen of Sonic 3 & Knuckles (or even just Sonic & Knuckles) will allow you to jump directly to that specific Blue Sphere stage.
