Mighty, introduced in Sonic Mania Plus, is a powerful and resilient character. His unique abilities are:
- Hammer Drop: Press the jump button twice to perform a powerful downward slam, destroying enemies and certain obstacles below him. This also makes him briefly invulnerable to spikes.
- Shell Shield: When hit, Mighty briefly curls into a ball, becoming invulnerable to further damage for a short period. This can save you from multiple hits in quick succession.
Mighty's Hammer Drop is excellent for breaking through specific barriers and dealing with groups of enemies. His Shell Shield provides a forgiving defensive option, making him a good choice for players who might struggle with taking damage.
