The Sonic Rush UI provides all the essential information you need during gameplay. On the top screen (or bottom, depending on the current action focus), you'll typically see your Ring count in the top-left corner. Collecting 100 rings grants you an extra life, and rings also act as your health – getting hit without rings makes you lose a life. Below the ring count is your Score, which accumulates based on rings collected, enemies defeated, and time bonuses. In the top-right corner, you'll find the Timer, counting down the time spent in the current act. Achieving a fast time is crucial for S-Ranks.

The most important UI element is the Boost Gauge, located at the bottom of the screen (usually the bottom screen). This gauge fills up as you defeat enemies, collect rings, and perform tricks. Once filled, you can activate your Boost ability using the X or Y buttons. The gauge depletes as you boost, so manage it wisely. Below the Boost Gauge, you'll see your remaining Lives. Understanding these UI elements will help you make informed decisions during gameplay, such as when to use your boost or when to prioritize collecting rings for survival.
