Focus on maintaining momentum and using your character's unique abilities to navigate the environment. Sonic will find his Homing Attack invaluable for chaining attacks and reaching higher platforms, while Blaze's Burst Hover can help her cross wider gaps and slow her descent for precise landings. Keep an eye out for springs and dash panels to maintain your speed.
The zone also introduces basic enemy types, such as Crabmeats and Buzz Bombers, which are easily dispatched with a Homing Attack or a simple jump. Use these enemies to fill your Boost Gauge quickly. There are many vertical sections in Leaf Storm, so be prepared to switch between the top and bottom screens frequently.
