User Interface (UI) Overview
  • Rings Counter (Top Left): Displays the number of rings you currently possess. Rings act as your health; taking damage with rings causes you to lose them all, but you remain invincible for a brief period. If you take damage with zero rings, you lose a life.
  • Score (Top Center): Your current score for the act. Collecting rings, defeating enemies, and completing acts quickly contribute to your score.
  • Time (Top Right): The elapsed time for the current act. Faster completion times often lead to higher scores and better rankings.
  • Lives Counter (Bottom Left): Shows how many lives you have remaining. Losing all lives results in a Game Over.
  • Chaos Power Icon (Bottom Right): Displays the icon of your currently equipped Chaos Power and its charge status. Once activated, it will show a cooldown or depletion.
  • Character Portrait (Bottom Center): A small portrait of your currently selected character.

During boss battles, you might see a boss health bar appear, usually at the top of the screen. Pay attention to these elements to manage your resources and track your progress effectively.
