Recommended Character: Knuckles (for wall climbing) or Tails (for bypassing sections).
Walkthrough:
- Act 2 features more intricate pinball layouts and introduces moving flippers that act as platforms.
- You'll encounter 'Roller Badniks' that roll along paths. Jump over them or use a Spin Attack.
- Chaos Emerald Opportunity: After a section with multiple moving flippers, look for a hidden path to the lower left, often behind a false wall or a series of platforms that require precise gliding (Knuckles) or flying (Tails). The Big Ring is located there.
- Navigate through areas with gravity-altering sections, where you might be pulled upwards or sideways. Adapt your movement accordingly.
- There are several sections where you'll need to use a combination of springs and flippers to reach high-up areas.
- The final part of the act involves a series of high-speed loops and corkscrews, leading to a large jump and the Goal Post.
Tips: Knuckles' wall climb can help you bypass some of the more challenging pinball sections and find shortcuts. Tails' flight is excellent for reaching high platforms and avoiding hazards.
