The Chemical Plant Zone boss is a machine that drops large chemical bubbles. The arena features a rising and falling chemical pool, adding an environmental hazard to the fight. You need to hit Robotnik's Egg Mobile directly.
Phases & Attacks:
- Bubble Drop: Robotnik drops large chemical bubbles that bounce around the arena. These are dangerous to touch.
- Chemical Pool: The chemical pool in the arena will periodically rise, forcing you onto higher platforms.
Strategy:
- Dodge Bubbles: Avoid the bouncing chemical bubbles. They can be destroyed with a Spin Attack, but it's often safer to dodge.
- Hit Robotnik: Robotnik is vulnerable at all times. Jump and hit his Egg Mobile when he is within reach.
- Manage Chemical Pool: When the chemical pool rises, quickly move to the higher platforms. Use the Spin Dash to gain height if needed.
This boss requires 8 hits. The main challenge is managing the rising chemical and dodging the bubbles. Stay on the higher platforms as much as possible to avoid the chemical.
