The first boss, the Egg Mobile-H, is a relatively simple introduction to boss battles. Dr. Robotnik's Egg Mobile is equipped with a drill attachment. He will fly down, attempt to drill into the ground, and then retract. Your goal is to hit him when he is vulnerable.
Phases & Attacks:
- Drill Attack: Robotnik flies down and attempts to drill into the ground. He is invulnerable during this phase.
- Retraction: After drilling, he retracts his drill and flies back up. This is your window of opportunity.
Strategy:
- Wait for Vulnerability: Robotnik is only vulnerable when he is retracting his drill and flying back up.
- Jump Attack: Position yourself to jump and hit the top of his Egg Mobile as he ascends.
- Dodge: Simply move out of the way when he descends to drill.
This boss requires 8 hits to defeat. It's a straightforward fight, so focus on timing your jumps correctly. Having rings is always a good idea, but this boss is unlikely to cause many issues.
