Act 1 of Mystic Cave Zone introduces several new environmental traps. Collapsing platforms are common; they will fall after a short delay once you step on them, so move quickly. Spiked vines hang from the ceiling and can be deadly if touched. You'll also encounter enemies that blend into the dark background, making them harder to spot. There are sections with mine carts that you can ride, offering a fast but sometimes dangerous way through the level. Look for hidden passages behind waterfalls or in dark corners.
