  1. From the title screen, go to 'Options'.
  2. Highlight 'Sound Test'.
  3. Play the following sounds in order: 19, 65, 09, 17. You should hear a ring sound.
  4. Press Start to return to the title screen.
  5. Hold A and press Start to enter the Level Select menu.
  6. From the Level Select, highlight a zone and hold A, then press Start to enter Debug Mode for that level.

Debug Mode Controls:

  • B Button: Toggles between Sonic/Tails and item placement mode.
  • A Button: Cycles through available items in item placement mode.
  • C Button: Places the selected item.
  • Directional Pad: Moves Sonic/Tails or the item cursor.
