Location: Marble Zone Act 3
Description: Robotnik's Egg Mobile is equipped with a flamethrower. The arena features three platforms that rise and fall into a lava pit.
Attack Pattern: Robotnik flies across the top of the screen, occasionally descending to shoot a stream of flames downwards. The platforms below constantly move up and down.
Strategy:
- Platform Management: Stay on the highest available platform to give yourself the best chance to hit Robotnik.
- Avoid Flames: When Robotnik descends to shoot flames, move to a platform that is not directly under him or jump over the flames if necessary.
- Timing Your Hit: Jump and hit the Egg Mobile when he is low enough and not actively firing flames. This usually happens as he's moving between flame attacks.
- Repeat: He requires 8 hits. After each hit, he might speed up his movements or fire more frequently.
Key Tip: Falling into the lava is instant death, regardless of rings. Prioritize staying on the platforms and avoiding the flames. Patience is crucial here, as rushing can lead to a quick demise. Use the rising platforms to your advantage for height.
