Location: Scrap Brain Zone Act 3
Description: This is the final boss. Robotnik is in a large, stationary machine with multiple attack capabilities. The arena has several platforms that move up and down.
Attack Pattern: Robotnik cycles through three main attacks:
- Fireball Attack: Shoots a stream of fireballs horizontally.
- Crushing Claw: A large claw descends from above, attempting to crush Sonic.
- Electric Floor: The floor becomes electrified, forcing Sonic onto the moving platforms.
Strategy:
- Observe Attack Cycle: Learn the order and timing of Robotnik's attacks.
- Dodge Attacks: For fireballs, find gaps or jump over them. For the claw, move quickly out of its path. When the floor electrifies, immediately get onto a moving platform.
- Hit Vulnerable Cockpit: After each attack, Robotnik's cockpit will briefly open and become vulnerable. Use the moving platforms to gain height and jump into the cockpit.
- Repeat: He requires 8 hits. After each hit, his attacks become faster and more relentless.
Key Tip: This is the toughest boss. Maintain a high ring count. The moving platforms are crucial for both dodging the electric floor and reaching Robotnik. Stay calm, focus on dodging first, then look for your opening. Patience and precise platforming are key to victory. Congratulations on reaching the end!
