South Island: The primary setting for Sonic's inaugural adventure. Each Zone you traverse, from the lush Green Hill to the industrial Scrap Brain, is a part of this diverse island. Robotnik's influence spreads across all of its distinct environments.
Chaos Emeralds: These seven powerful, ancient gems are the ultimate MacGuffin of the Sonic universe. Robotnik seeks them to power his machines and gain ultimate control. Locate Special Stage Rings: Hidden throughout Acts 1 and 2 of each Zone are giant rings. Jumping into these transports you to a Special Stage, where you can earn a Chaos Emerald.
