The Egg Dragoon is a challenging boss fought by both Sonic and the Werehog in Eggmanland. This battle requires quick transitions and mastery of both characters' abilities.
Phases & Strategy:
- Phase 1 (Sonic): Eggman will attack with drills and lasers. Boost and Homing Attack his machine when he's vulnerable, usually after a failed attack. Use Quick Step to dodge.
- Phase 2 (Werehog): The platform will change, and you'll fight as the Werehog. Eggman will use sweeping attacks and fire projectiles. Dodge and counter-attack his machine's legs or arms. Use Unleashed Mode for burst damage.
- Phase 3 (Sonic): Back to Sonic. Eggman will use more aggressive attacks, including a large laser sweep. Boost and Homing Attack his exposed cockpit.
- Phase 4 (Werehog): Final Werehog phase. Eggman will be more desperate, using powerful ground slams. Focus on dodging and unleashing your strongest combos on his machine.
Weakness:
Sonic attacks the cockpit and vulnerable parts of the machine during his phases. The Werehog attacks the machine's limbs and body during his phases.
Rewards:
Completion of the stage, Rings, and EXP.
