The Egg Lancer is a large, multi-limbed boss encountered in Adabat. This battle primarily features the Werehog, testing your combat and platforming skills.
Phases & Strategy:
- Phase 1: Arm Attacks: The Egg Lancer will attack with its large arms, attempting to smash or sweep the platform. Dodge these attacks. When an arm is vulnerable (often after a slam), attack it with combos.
- Phase 2: Laser Barrage: It will fire lasers from its central eye. Find cover or dodge through the gaps. After the lasers, its eye might be briefly exposed.
- Phase 3: Climbing and Core Attack: After damaging its arms, the Egg Lancer will expose a climbing path on its body. Use the Werehog's stretchy arms to climb up and attack its central core. Be wary of smaller enemies that spawn.
- Phase 4: Repeat and Finish: The boss will repeat its attack patterns. Continue to damage its arms, climb, and attack the core until it's defeated.
Weakness:
Its arms are vulnerable after attacks, and its central core is the main weak point once exposed.
Rewards:
Completion of the stage, Rings, and EXP.
