This is your first taste of Sonic's speed. Focus on maintaining momentum and using the Boost effectively. The stage is relatively straightforward, designed to teach you the basics of platforming and enemy engagement.

  1. Initial Dash: Boost immediately to clear the initial straightaway. Use Quick Step to avoid the small obstacles.
  2. Spring Section: Hit the springs to launch across gaps. Use Homing Attack on airborne enemies to chain jumps and maintain speed.
  3. Grinding Rails: Jump onto the grinding rails. You can jump between rails to collect rings or avoid hazards.
  4. Loop-de-Loop: Boost through the loop-de-loop. This is a classic Sonic element.
  5. Hidden Path (Optional): After the first set of grinding rails, look for a path to the right that leads to a higher platform with extra rings and a Sun Medal.
  6. Final Stretch: Boost through the final straightaway, avoiding the last few enemies. Aim for a high score and a good time.

Medal Count: 3 Sun Medals. Two are on the main path, one is slightly off the beaten path on a higher platform after the first set of grinding rails. Replay to find them all!
