Mazuri's daytime stage introduces more dynamic environmental elements, such as quicksand and crumbling platforms. Precision and quick reflexes are paramount to maintaining your speed and avoiding pitfalls.
- Quicksand Sections: Boost through quicksand to avoid sinking. If you get stuck, jump repeatedly to escape.
- Crumbling Platforms: These platforms will collapse after a short delay. Move quickly across them, using Homing Attack on enemies to bridge gaps.
- Rolling Boulder Section: You'll encounter sections where a giant boulder chases Sonic. Boost and Quick Step to avoid it.
- Wind Tunnels: Some areas feature strong winds that can push Sonic off course. Use Quick Step to compensate or find sheltered paths.
- Secret Sun Medal: After a quicksand section, look for a hidden path to the left that leads to a series of springs and a Sun Medal.
