Summer Forest Enemies
Glimmer
-
Gem Thief (Small):
These pesky, purple-skinned creatures are the first enemies you'll encounter. They appear in the opening area of Glimmer, often scurrying away with your precious gems. They are easily defeated with a simple flame attack. Don't let them get too far! A single flame will make them drop any gems they've stolen and disappear.
-
Gem Thief (Large):
A more robust version of their smaller counterparts, these larger Gem Thieves also appear in Glimmer. They can withstand a single flame attack, requiring two flame hits or a single charge attack to defeat. They also carry more gems, so prioritize taking them down quickly to recover your loot.
-
Crystal Lizard:
Found primarily in the crystal caves of Glimmer, these lizards are covered in a shimmering, crystalline hide. Your flame attack is ineffective against their tough exterior. To defeat them, you must use a charge attack. Aim carefully, as they can move surprisingly fast. Defeating them often yields a small cluster of gems.
Idol Springs
-
Idol Guard:
These stone-faced guards patrol the pathways of Idol Springs. They are slow-moving but can deliver a hefty club swing if you get too close. Your flame attack is the most efficient way to deal with them. One good blast will send them crumbling. Be mindful of their patrol routes to avoid unnecessary damage.
-
Water Imp:
These mischievous blue imps are found near the water bodies in Idol Springs. They will occasionally pop out of the water and spit projectiles at Spyro. A well-aimed flame attack will dispatch them quickly. They often retreat into the water after an attack, so be ready to follow up.
Colossus
-
Hockey Player (Blue):
These aggressive hockey players are a common sight in Colossus. They will charge at Spyro with their hockey sticks. A single flame attack is usually enough to defeat them. However, they can be quite numerous in certain areas, so consider using a charge attack to clear multiple enemies at once.
-
Hockey Player (Red):
Similar to their blue counterparts, red Hockey Players are slightly tougher. They can withstand one flame attack and require a second flame or a charge to defeat. They are often found guarding key areas or power-ups, so approach with caution.
-
Ice Golem:
These large, slow-moving golems are made of ice and are impervious to your flame attack. To defeat them, you must use a charge attack. They are often found guarding important items or blocking paths. Watch out for their slow, sweeping arm attacks.
Hurricos
-
Gear Grinder:
These mechanical enemies are found throughout Hurricos. They are small and fast, often moving in erratic patterns. A single flame attack is sufficient to destroy them. They frequently drop small gems upon defeat.
-
Electric Eel:
Found in the electrified water sections of Hurricos, these eels will periodically emerge from the water to shock Spyro. They are invulnerable while submerged. Wait for them to fully surface before unleashing a flame attack to defeat them. Timing is key here.
-
Windmill Guard:
These larger, armored enemies guard the windmills and power sources in Hurricos. They are resistant to flame attacks. You'll need to use a charge attack to defeat them. They can also launch small projectiles, so be prepared to dodge.
Autumn Plains Enemies
Skelos Badlands
-
Lava Lizard:
These fiery lizards are found in the volcanic regions of Skelos Badlands. They are immune to your flame attack. To defeat them, you must use a charge attack. Be careful, as they can spit small fireballs at Spyro.
-
Bone Golem:
These skeletal constructs are formidable foes in Skelos Badlands. They are large and can take multiple flame attacks to defeat. A charge attack is more efficient. They often guard important areas, so clear them out to progress.
Crystal Glacier
-
Ice Bat:
These flying creatures swoop down from above in Crystal Glacier. A single flame attack will send them plummeting. They often appear in groups, so be ready to quickly target multiple enemies.
-
Snowman:
These animated snowmen are found throughout Crystal Glacier. They are immune to your flame attack. You must use a charge attack to defeat them. They can also throw snowballs, so be prepared to dodge.
Breeze Harbor
-
Robot Worker:
These small, metallic robots are common in Breeze Harbor. They are easily defeated with a single flame attack. They often drop gems upon destruction.
-
Turret Bot:
These stationary robots are equipped with projectile launchers. They will fire at Spyro if he gets too close. A well-aimed flame attack will destroy them. Approach cautiously and use cover if available.
Winter Tundra Enemies
Mystic Marsh
-
Swamp Monster:
These amphibious creatures dwell in the murky waters of Mystic Marsh. They are slow-moving but can deal damage if you get too close. A flame attack is effective against them. They often hide in the tall grass, so keep an eye out.
-
Flying Fish:
These fish will leap out of the water in Mystic Marsh to attack Spyro. A quick flame attack will send them back to the depths. They often appear in groups, so be prepared for multiple targets.
Cloud Temples
-
Cloud Imp:
These mischievous imps float around the Cloud Temples, often throwing small lightning bolts. A flame attack will defeat them. They can be tricky to hit due to their aerial movement, so time your attacks carefully.
-
Stone Guardian:
These large, stone statues come to life in Cloud Temples. They are immune to flame attacks and require a charge attack to defeat. They are slow but powerful, so dodge their ground pounds and strike when they are vulnerable.
Robotica Farms
-
Worker Bot (Red):
These red robots are found in Robotica Farms. They are slightly more durable than the standard Worker Bots and require two flame attacks or a charge to defeat. They often patrol in groups.
-
Harvest Bot:
These larger, agricultural robots are equipped with spinning blades. They are immune to flame attacks. You must use a charge attack to destroy them. Be careful of their spinning blades, as they can deal significant damage.
