Fracture Hills is a rocky, mountainous level where you'll learn the Headbash ability. This ability is crucial for breaking certain objects and accessing new areas.
- Learn Headbash: Moneybags will be waiting near the entrance. Pay him to learn the Headbash ability. This allows you to jump and then press Triangle to slam down, breaking cracked rocks and certain enemies.
- Collect Gems: Now that you have Headbash, go back and break all the cracked rocks you see. Many gems are hidden beneath them. Explore the entire level, including the higher ledges.
- Orb 1: Rescue the Alchemist: Talk to the Alchemist. He'll ask you to rescue his fellow Alchemists from the Earthshapers. The Earthshapers are large, rock-like enemies that require a Headbash to defeat. Find and defeat all the Earthshapers holding Alchemists captive. Return to the first Alchemist for an Orb.
- Orb 2: Escort the Alchemist: Another Alchemist will ask you to escort him to a safe location. Protect him from the attacking Earthshapers. This challenge is similar to the Monk escort, but with the added requirement of using Headbash on the enemies. Successfully escort him for your second Orb.
- Orb 3: Return to Autumn Plains: Awarded upon level completion.
The Headbash ability is vital for 100% completion, so make sure you master it here. It's also useful in previous levels for accessing previously unreachable gems.
