Gliding is one of Spyro's most essential movement abilities. To maximize your glide distance, jump at the peak of a ramp or jump-off point, then immediately press the glide button. For even greater distance, learn the 'super glide' or 'glide extension' technique: at the very end of a glide, quickly tap the jump button again to gain a small burst of height, allowing you to extend your glide further. This is crucial for reaching many hidden areas and completing challenging platforming sections, especially in levels like Tree Tops.
