Aloha Ice Jam's race is a balance of speed and careful navigation through its varied environments. The initial jungle section is wide and fast; use it to build momentum. The icy caverns are narrow and slippery, requiring precise steering to avoid hitting walls. Look for the numerous ice tunnels that serve as shortcuts, but be careful as they can be tight. There's a major shortcut through a hidden ice cave after the first large jump; aim for the opening on the right. Another key shortcut involves jumping over a lava pit to a lower, faster path. Be wary of the moving ice blocks and environmental hazards. Use your boost strategically on the longer straightaways and after successful landings. The course has many opportunities to cut corners by jumping over small gaps or ledges. Practice in Freeride to identify the fastest lines and master the slippery ice sections.
